This one-of-a-kind property is the perfect retreat for friends and family. With 3 floors of living space - Golden Pines Cottage Rental provides the optimal space for multiple families.

Our 5 bedroom home can sleep a total of 10 people making it the perfect home for large families or corporate gatherings.
The main level has a large stone gas fireplace, an open kitchen concept with an island, and a large dining table. The living area has a walkout to the large wrap-around deck with views of Lake Huron.
The ground level is the perfect recreation area with couches and tables as well as a walkout to the shoreline. The upper 2 bedrooms are equipped with AC units. The rest of the house has fans.

The rocky shoreline is beautiful in its ruggedness. The waters are warm and perfect for kayaking and canoeing. There is a public boat launch approx. 2 km away.

Located on the Bruce Peninsula - there are several Nature Reserves and 2 National Parks to discover. The Bruce Trail is located a short drive from the cottage.
Lion's Head is a 10-minute drive away. There is a Foodland's, LCBO, several restaurants, hardware store, churches, hospital, marina, shopping, and a wonderful sandy public beach.

This was our first time at Golden Pines cottage and hopefully won't be the last. We loved everything. The cottage is so clean, spacious and comfortable for our group of 10. We enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the beautiful blue waters of lake Huron. Lots of hiking trails around and sitting by the gorgeous new fire pit every night. Family time fun had by all!! Love Golden Pines!!!

Thank you for allowing the Hatt family to stay at this beautiful home! Golden Pines was meticulous upon arrival and I do hope we lessened your clean up for the next renters! It is a relaxing venue with a spectacular water view and sunsets. Our stay allowed us the family time we have missed over the last 4 months., a time when the normal may never be the same! This spacious cottage (home) lacks for nothing! Our daughter spent most of her time mastering the kayak, a well deserved vacation for her as a frontline worker in retail. We made memories for sure , laughing, singing and remembering. Trust me when I say that the Bruce Peninsula is less one flying bat! Sad but true! Might have been the funniest memory of 2020 for us! Thanks for the sunshine everyday and not having a fire ban during our stay! Needless to say s'mores were great!

This is an absolutely INCREDIBLE cottage! The pictures do not do it justice. There are 3 floors, which allows a variety of independent indoor activities (cards, movie watching, chatting) without any difficulty. The kitchen is completely equipped with everything you could ever imagine needing. We loved using the kayaks and spent a lot of time in the many Muskoka and 0 gravity chairs. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking and the location couldn't be any better! Shari and Mike are very responsive and go above and beyond to make sure that everything is in working order. We strongly recommend that you visit this beautiful cottage if you have the opportunity - you won't be disappointed!

We spent a fantastic tranquil week at Golden Pines. The cottage is spacious, beautiful, and provides everything needed for a great vacation. The property is located directly on stunning Lake Huron, the water was clear, clean, and warm for swimming and kayaking (4 are provided). Lion's Head and Tobermory are located fairly close by with lots to see and do. Highly recommend Golden Pines! Thanks Mike and Shari!!

This has been our annual event very year for the past seven years. I have to say that this cottage has been the best cottage we've ever been to. We always been looking for the best cottage every year we think this could be it. So hopefully this cottage is available next year because we would love to book it again.
