Tobermory Waterfront Cottage Rental on Dorcas Bay. Sand Beach, Hot Tub!

Beautiful cottage with a sandy beach area located 10 minutes drive from Tobermory.
4 bedroom cottage on Dorcas Bay, located near Singing Sands beach with 100 ' of waterfront facing the sunset. Dorcas Bay is a gorgeous bay on Lake Huron.
Our 4 bedroom cottage features a large master bedroom suite, with an ensuite bathroom and a king bed. Adjacent to the bedroom is an indoor sunroom with a 6 person hot tub (use of hot tub is $100 per stay). There is a walk-out to the deck overlooking the bay from the sunroom.
The kitchen has a gas range, a full-sized fridge, and a dishwasher.
The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all open concepts. There is a sliding door to the outdoor patio where there are a table and chairs, some Muskoka chairs, and a couple of loungers. There is also a table at the back of the cottage where you can enjoy the morning sun!
The other 3 bedrooms includes a room with 2 twins, a double bedroom, and a room with a murphy bed that is a comfortable double bed. There is also a bunkie with twin bunks set up. Enjoy the sunset right from the deck. Lake Huron is crystal clear and warms up nicely in summer. Boats are not included in this rental - there are boat rentals available in Tobermory.
All the Northern Bruce Peninsula is located close to the cottage. Just a short drive and you are in Tobermory where you can take a tour to Flowerpot Island and view the shipwrecks. Singing Sands beach is 5 minutes drive. The Bruce Peninsula National Park is 15 minutes from the cottage. Tobermory has a liquor store, a grocery store, and several restaurants.

The hot tub is for adult use only. We ask for a fee for use so our guests understand the rules of its use.
This cottage rents WEEKLY ONLY in summer. MAX 6 adults. (8 total with children).

Due to the shoals in the area in the lake, we do not allow sea-doo or jet skis at this cottage.

The photos don't do this place justice. Clean, spacious, elegant, comfortable. And the location couldn't be better. This was our first time there, 2 families of 4. We and our kids had 2 bedrooms on one side of the cottage; our friends and their kids had 2 bedrooms on the other side. The 2 sets of bedrooms are separated by the common areas: kitchen, dining room, living room, so there's plenty of privacy, should you need it. There's a full bathroom on each side of the cottage. Perfect.

The Sweepstakes and the City of Grand Rapids wrecks can be reached and snorkeled right from the dock. The Big Tub Lighthouse is an 8-min walk. Bring your mask and snorkel, and a wetsuit if you have one (will keep you warm while exploring the wrecks), and enjoy!

This place has everything you will need, from a Keurig coffee maker, garlic press, wine glasses to a cupboard full of herbs and spices. The appliances are top-notch. Shari and Mike keep this place immaculate and are super-responsive should you find anything that may need attention.

We've already booked 2 weeks for 2021 and can't wait to be back.

This was my third time at this cottage with my family. It is the best cottage in tobermory! Extremely clean, perfect location close to the town, and the grotto. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need. Shari was an excellent host!
One suggestion I have to make this cottage above and beyond is if the fire pit was located near the water at the docks like some of the other cottages across.
My family and I can't wait to book this cottage again next summer!

We loved this cottage. We had 3 teenagers and 6 adults and everyone loved their stay. There was plenty of room and the layout of the cottage is great for everyone to have their space. The kitchen is well equipped and the cottage is very clean. The location is perfect. We walked to the lighthouse everyday and was only a short walk into the town of Tobermory as well, however we mostly drove as we did some shopping on our visits. Kayak rentals are a 5 min walk from cottage and we kayaked around the harbour and shipwrecks. The water is clear and the shipwreck is visible from the deck. The dock is large for everyone to sit together. We were able to float and snorkel over the shipwreck in the evenings. Watching the tour boats come in everyday was fun. The fire pit was a nice way to finish the days off under the stars. We would definitely consider renting again.

Amazing cottage in an amazing location.
We just loved our stay. Tons of space in a new clean updated cottage, with an amazing view right in Big Tub Harbour. My kids loved snorkeling to the shipwrecks, right outside our dock on a daily basis. Also renting kayaks etc at the nearby Big Tub Harbour Resort is easy. There is a 30 min walk to town, and 10 min walk to Lighthouse. Everything amazing, can't say enough. Would rent again next summer 100%
